The invite to come play would be my idea of how to travel but I will have to figure out a way to convince my wife of that. From what I remember from geography Barvaria is a very beautiful country. Would love to be able to see it some day.
I couldn't say how widely used the term stubble jumper is. I would quess it covers most of the grain farming regions in Canada and the US. Probably used more about 15 to 20 years ago.
